This power is used to irradiate material. It is most often used to irradiate ammo or ghost rock. A junker who knows this power is a doomsayers best friend.
Ammo
There are two ways to irradiate ammo. The first being irradiating currently existing ammo and the second is creating irradiated material inside the ammo when you make it.
Irradiating Currently Existing Ammo
This process takes 10% of the total slots of the ammo and uses the irradiator described below. This causes 1 extra wind damage due to radiation, but has the side effect on the user of the gun. The victim must make an Onerous (7) Vigor roll every five minutes or suffer 1 wind as long as the bullets in them. The owner of the ammo must make Fair (6) Vigor roll for every five minutes in contact with the ammo or suffer 1 wind. The shooter can avoid this if they are wearing a full rad suit.
Irradiating Ammo as You Make It
This process takes 20% of the total slots and is much safer for your brainer. You must do this when you are using the ammo power. This causes 1 extra wind damage and only the guy who gets hit has to make a fair (5) Vigor roll.
The Irradiating Device
All right I know you've been waiting for this one so here it is. This is just the device used to create irradiated material (including ghost rock). Now to create the Irradiator:
First you need yer frame. The Base slot use is 30% of the frame size plus any space used to irradiate. This space costs the same as dead space.
Now the process of the irradiation takes 2 hours + (ounces / 4) hours. So creating 1 pound would take 6 hours [2 + (16 / 4)]. To find the average weight of a frame use this equation: [Structural x Load] pounds. When using the irradiator I highly suggest using the shield power or you'll have to make an Onerous (7) Vigor roll even if you are well protected. Without a rad suit you must make an Incredible (11) Vigor roll or suffer a minor mutation.
Doomsayers
Ok for every 1 pound of irradiated material a doomsayer holds his strain is recovered at one half the normal rate while resting, or at normal rate under other conditions. This will attract doomsayer's like a librarian to books.
Radiation Converters (De-radiators)
Another power that can be added to an irradiator is the power to convert radiation energy into G-rays. This takes 20% of the total slots to implant. The energy is converted at the rate of 5 G-rays per hour. 1 pound of fully irradiated material holds 200 GR's of irradiation; this does not destroy the item. You can also use the de-radiator when it's open to drain G-rays from an area that has G-radiation at the rate of 2 per hour (and I don't think you'll stay in the area long enough to get rid of the thousands of G-rays that are there). De-radiating does not cause extra drain, however when using the Irradiator along with it the drain is reduced to only 45 G-Rays per hour.

Life-support is used to create devices that sustain life.
Organs
If your liver shuts down from too much drinking or your heart pops you'd better hope you've got a Templar as a friend or this device on you. An organ sustainer will allow you to function without one or more of your major organs. In order for the device to work, it must be near the organ touching the skin. The slot cost is listed below for the different organs, but you must use this with the knowledge of medicine or build it in with Sensor and Brains.
Organ / Slot cost / Drain (per minute)
Heart / 6 / 3
Liver / 4 / 2
Kidney / 2 / 1
Lung / 4 / 2
Air
To create a breathing machine you first want to know if you want to store air or filter it. Storing air costs 2 slots per 1/2 hour, and requires no drain. You can refill the tank by hooking it up to a spirit battery and draining 1 G-ray per hour of air stored. Filtering air costs 3 slots and drains 4 G-rays per hour (6 in low air or toxic environments). This uses 10% less chemical and electronic components.
Pressure and the environment
It can be important to have a pressurization device if you plan on making vehicles that go too far above or below sea level. Also you can environmentally seal a transport or a set of cloths to prevent the toxic environment from affecting you. The enviro-seal can only protect against natural toxins, you'd need Spirit Weapon to protect from supernatural toxins. A pressure maker uses 10% of the total frame slots and costs 1 drain per frame size every time you pressurize or de-pressurize it. The enviro-seal uses 10% of the frames total slots and requires no drain.
Grub
This device can suppress a person's appetite for food and/or condense small amounts of water from the air. Appetite suppression requires 5 slots and has a drain of 15 per day. Treat this as if you were using hot dogs (From the HOE medicine cabinet). The water condenser needs 7 slots and drains 4 G-rays every hour. You can condense half an ounce of water under normal conditions, up to 2 ounces in very humid climates, or no water in extremely dry areas. For food add 10% chemical and for water subtract 10%.
