Honoring Women Veterans. The Zotigh Singers are proud to
present their fifth recording which consists of 13 original compositions
by members of the group. As in the past and true to Ralph Zotigh's
inspiration and encouragement to others, there are new singers in addition
to members who have long been with the group. One of the highlights
of this recording is the Women Veterans Song, by Ralph Zotigh, Kiowa, in
honor of all women warriors serving in the U.S. Armed Services. This
year we dedicate this recording to all women who served and are still
serving in the Armed Services. Available at

The Zotigh Singers are proud
to present their fourth recording which consists of original compositions
by members of the drum. The Kiowa words throughout the first song on this
recording say Bay Pbay Taay, meaning "Don't Give Up."
This Kiowa phrase can also be interpreted to say "Have Courage," which is
the title of this album. The Zotigh Singers wish to give these songs
to the circle in honor of our Creator. Available at
Indian House, Taos, NM. |

Millennium. This
is the Zotigh Singers' third recording. Not surprising is the inclusion of
all new songs as well as new singers. Ralph Zotigh, lead singer, holds a
belief that "in order to perpetuate our powwow culture we are going to have
to educate new individuals into the powwow circle. In addition, we need to
try to stay close to the teachings of our elders." Available at
Indian House, Taos, NM. |

Zotigh Singers: Live at Schemitzun was recorded at the
1998 Festival of the Green Corn on the Mashantucket Pequot Reservation in
Connecticut. This annual celebration is considered to be one of the two
largest powwows in the country. The Zotigh Singers were the host drum and
defending "Southern Challenge" champions in the same year at the Gathering
of Nations in Albuquerque, NM. |

Powwow Songs from the Southwest. The songs in this recording were composed by Ralph
Zotigh, his son Dennis, and Jacob Pino. These songs were composed to
accommodate both the northern and southern styles of dancing that take
place at a modern powwow. The Zotigh Singers blend a rich
combination of Ralph's knowledge and experience "at the drum" and the
talent of young singers in this debut album. Available at
Indian House, Taos, NM. |
