Firstly I had asked My Brother to do something on tape for Skye's 21st Birthday Surprise Dinner at Her Favourite Restaurant Here in Brisbane. I had sent him my handheld voice activated tape recorder priority paid and had included the return priority paid envelope all pre-addressed so all David had to do was install the batteries which the Post Office require Ewe to send loose with the item for safety reasons. As David said his tape recorder had a tape jammed in it. Upon receiving the tape I couldn't find anything recorded on the tape. So I rung him and asked if he had listened to it after he recorded it and he said "No." I was in a Panic and was about to try testing the recorder and something made me stop and decide to try using a new tape, thinking it may be a faulty tape. I then realised ... Dubbo Me I had My Main Player on Cd not Tape. Phew!! I had David singing ... And strangely the handheld recorder no longer will play clearly??? I run it at the party and picked up very garbled bits of the night ... My brother and I had always had a Psychic Connection ... So his choice of song to sing was probably not unusual as I hadn't yet read to him the poem I had just written for Skye and he hadn't known that I had written the line ... Do a kind deed for a stranger with no thought of financial gain ... I used the recorder on the puter to record the song from the tape, along with other tapes from the rest of the family and friends to then burn a Cd of them for Skye to keep ... I tried to increase the volume by 25% but accidentally hit increase speed 100% and discovered I had David singing with the Chipmunks ... lol ...
I rung David and played both versions to him over the Phone and We both had a Good Laugh and I told him I would play Him and the Chipmunks at his Funeral and he laughed and said "Good One Sis Yeah Ewe Do That For Me Ok?" It was a typical saying of His ... "Good One Nell or Sis" as He Loving called me and I Loving Called him Bro ... David and I were Both Blessed with A Zany Sense Of Humour the rest of the family lacked. Maybe it was because We were Both Manic Depressives ... Or at least the only Two who were Caught ... lol ... We Both had Our Certificates of Sanity, the rest still need to be issued with Theirs. At His funeral the family agreed to My having His Favourite Song ... Bridge Over Troubled Water ... and My song to Him
... He Ain't Heavy ... and ... Him Singing ... As the coffin was wheeled out of the Funeral Chapel. But they refused to allow Me to Keep My Promise to Him Re Playing Him And The Chipmunks. Said it was inappropriate that people may get upset and think that the tape had gone funny??? So Bro This is the Best way I know how to Keep My Promise To Ewe Mate ... Ewe can Now Star on the ... WWW ... for the Whole Internet
