My first introduction to Linux happened when I was studying for my PG. I was supposed to be taught Unix but they taught unix commands on Linux. I experimented a lot with the Linux and shell scripting was one of my favourite.

Then when I joined a firm I started to play with it more. The boss was more than happy with my experiments, if it worked of course. I was able to give cost effective solution using Linux and other open source projects. Then after a few years I thought of getting certified in what I know the best. That's when I got certified from Red Hat. After the certification I changed my base to the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore

I was successful in installing and configuring many web related services using Linux. Other open source projects that I have worked with are Zope, Qmail ,Sendmail , MySQL and Apache.
