Welcome, well since you have come this far I believe that you probably want to know some more info... Well the minicup cars can achieve speed up to 120+ miles an hour on larger tracks. At our track we actually run the same speeds as the six-cylinder class, and thats about 65-70 MPH on a quarter mile oval, that has long straights and really tight turns. In our organization we run the rules of NESCAR, a PA/NJ based minicup organization. Our motors are completely stock and sealed. We run DOT rated tires as well so that cost stays down. Below are some pictures for your amusement, with a brief discription of them...ENJOY! |

The mini-cup racecars are 1/2 scale NASCAR appearing cars. They have full rollcages, that resemble that of NASCARS, but are setup like go-karts. As pictured to the left, you can see the front half of the frame. If you look closely you can see the front steering components(like kart as well), The weight jacking bars, and the way the roll cage is formed. The adjustments you can make here are; Caster, Camber, Tow-in/out, and the weight bars. |
From the back view of the cars you can see the Honda QAE 2 13 HP powerplant. If you are familiar with karts you can also see that the rear axle is setup up like one as well. All they are is an axle, brake hub and chain hub. To the right of the picture is the fuel cell, nothing special just a fuel cell... | ![]() |
