Greetings
Moshi-moshi!! Here comes my great website of Chrono Cross, a Squaresoft game which had been given attention from all around the world of player. I like Chrono Cross very much, this is one of two games I like, that the other one is Xenogears. Why do I like them? The answer is simple actually. They're both good in their story. These two games have complex episodes continuing one another from the last episode of their previous games. Okay, nothing more to say, enjoy yourselves, have fun, make yourselves at home, what else?? Itatakimasu!!!???? weird enough... Enough already..have fun! Oh yeah, guess this web's background sound! The clue is the song isn't from Chrono Cross, but the prequel.... Tada! The song title is Manoria Cathedral. Hahaha...

This game has a complex storyline. Chrono Cross is the sequel of Chrono Trigger, so what happens between these two games is based on cause and effect. Since Chrono Cross has 3d battle and cool battle system, the graphic is still better than FF7 that time. But I don't mean to say FF7 is worse, I like it too.. The Character management is good for a 40-heroes game. They're all well developed with their own scenario. Scenario here means, in the game there will be many story branches with different heroes involved. So in order to get all characters in Chrono Cross, you have to beat the game around 3 or 4 times, if I'm not mistaken. The truth is I have beaten the game 11 times. Oh yeah, the New Game+ is still usable for each gameplay. The battle system requires that you be fast on preparing strategy, coz the game uses Real Time Active Battle, same like FF out there. Sqauresoft likes to make that kind of battle you know. More will be discusses in Gameplay section. For starters, Chrono series are games with time travel-based story, so if you haven't played Chrono Trigger yet, don't urge to play Chrono Cross, or your brain will crash because of thingking too much about the complicated story. My rating is 9/10.
Here is the starting of the game.
You start as a blue haired boy by the name of Serge charging through what you'll later learn to be Fort Dragona with a girl dressed in red and another team member. After flipping some switches and getting lost a bit, you make your way to a transporter in the center of the fort that sends you soaring to the highest point of the building. When trying the door you see visions of a dark room.. the girl dressed in red bleeding... and a blood covered knife in your hand.. and then you wake up, it was all a dream. You go about your daily things for a while and eventually agree to meet your girl friend, Leena, at Opassa Beach. There, all of the sudden a wave will come up on you and you feel as if you've been split in 2. After waking on the shore you head back to your home, Arni Village. Oddly, there no one will reconise you or will say you look like a boy who drowned at Oppasa Beach 10 years ago. Leena, who doesn't recognize you either will tell you where the grave of the boy you look like is. There, a soldier with a bad axe finds you as if he was expecting you and tells you to surrender. Then out of the blue, the girl dressed in red from your dream comes to your rescue. You'll eventually learn that the wave you experienced was you traversing between the 2 worlds.
