Oh, the last episode of Mai-Otome. The ending quite sucks, but good enough, especially for Gundam Seed lover out there. The ending is relatively similar to Gundam Seed, the battle is quite similar too, imagine Nina and Arika as Gundams fighting out of space. Actually Nina and Arika are fighting in outer space anyway... so you don't have to imagine the space, but imagine the person wearing a Robe being a Gundam-like armor... hahaha. Look at the picture beside, even their hair colors are same with Athrun and Kira from Gundam Seed.

By the way, the story. Haven't told you the story. The ending, as I told you, a bit sucks and makes me feel dizzy just to watch Nina and Sergay doing something I don't really like. But for Mashiro and Arika, the ending is very happy. The sunflower castle is built at last. The last episode is just about the battle between meister otomes of twelve kingdoms. Of course Nagi of Artai Kingdom is the one provoking this, with the Harmonium's power. Nina becomes crazy using the Harmonium just to revive his beloved "Oto-sama" from dying, geez, what's in her mind? She's destroying Windbloom yet Sergay may not be revived. It's just a theory from Nagi, but Sergay survives in the end though... The Five Pillars return in action with Maya coming back after a sequence with Akane. All Pearls gain their own GEM due to the power of Otome no Shinso. For example, Shiho receives Rasen no Jamonseki GEM. And the war begins. Nina still using the Evil Harmonium to destroy everything. So Arika goes to Nina, and after several events, they are going to outer space. See picture beside. They fight, and Nina lose falling down from the sky and saved by Arika. Oh my, they sucks, a yuri event in a last moment like this? Can't imagine this...sigh...

My own opinion, same like above, suite sucks, but I like it a bit, the happy ending of Windbloom, hehe... The events are good enough anyway, the story is better than Mai-HiME, but Mai-HiME's ending is far better than Mai-Otome, this is what I think. Actually I love Arika's cloth in the last episode, better than Nina's funny greennie. Oh yeah, click here for more screenshots.
