Sim+ Download and Installation Instructions:

1. Download the following files
   - spb1400.zip
   - df1400.zip
   - lib1400.zip
   - xmpl1400.zip
   
2. Open archives while keeping the original directory structure into drive 'C:\'
   this should create the following directories on your hard drive :
   
   C:\simplus\bin
   C:\simplus\df
   C:\simplus\df_sn
   C:\simplus\include
   C:\simplus\lib
   C:\simplus\systems
   C:\simplus\work
   C:\simplus\df\comm
   C:\simplus\lib\ActCAD
   C:\simplus\lib\MicroSim
   C:\simplus\lib\OrCAD
   C:\simplus\systems\ActCAD
   C:\simplus\systems\MicroSim
   C:\simplus\systems\OrCAD
   C:\simplus\systems\ActCAD\Pendulum
   C:\simplus\systems\MicroSim\Pendulum
   C:\simplus\systems\OrCAD\SDT
   C:\simplus\systems\OrCAD\SDT\QAM16
   C:\simplus\work\actcad
   C:\simplus\work\microsim
   C:\simplus\work\orcadsdt
   
3. It is recommended to install the following third-party packages:
   DJGPP free C/C++ 32bit compiler
   4DOS or 4NT replacement for command.com
   Matlab math package
   

Of course, you should also have your EDA package installed.

There are few batch files in 'C:\simplus\bin' that may be used for translation and compilation. each of these files was written for different EDA package. In C:\work\ subdirectories there are Sim+ configuration files for the different EDA packages.
