A french cowgirl !
Here is a picture of my daughter on horseback in Camargue, France 1982... Camargue is a wonderful place in the south of France, a vast marshland with wild white horses, bulls and flamingoes.. The French "cow-boys" are rurals living in Camargue are and making a living of the stocks there. Camargue is also a wide natural reserve. I have been there on several occasions and I can tell you it's one of the most wonderful landscapes on Earth.. The plants you see in the background are of the salicornia species and are very salt-tolerant (halophiles). I took the picture, on horseback too... which explains the blurs... |

The kids in my family 1987
Here we were celebrating the Epiphany in France... Sussi in the middle and my nephews, Mikhaël on the left, Itys on the right. Mikhaël is nowadays working with computers and Itys is working towards his PhD in biochemistry at the University of Sciences of Montpellier . |
My daughter Suzanne
The picture was taken at the County Museum of Örebro at an exhibition about (for Sweden) foreign traditions. She was 16 yo then and is holding a painting she made herself. Here the french Epiphany with the tradition of baking a cake and hiding a bean in it.. the lucky one who finds it is crowned "King" or "Queen"... The tradition is still very alive and celebrated both at home and at work... |

My dog Wookie
The picture was taken for about 10 years ago on the island of Öland on the Baltic. He lived a good life for 13 and a half years and is now living forever in dog's paradise, still going strong, still digging holes in beds...and chasing dog girlies...anyway he was a spotted wolf. Dalmatians are not always that easy to handle...but I still love him. |
