Monday Night QB Sacks Czupryna Again
1
For the second week in a row, CZUPRYNA faced an opposing quarterback on Monday Week 2 results
night and for the second week in a row CZ lost. This time it was JONES/KLINGMAN Berger-Browell 41 Montgomery 28
and Randall Cunningham doing the damage 36-33. J/K needed three touchdowns and Jones-Klingman 36 Czupryna 33
Cunningham supplied them early. Hopefully, CZ turned off the game at half time, Jackson 55 Ricker 32
because it would have been too painful to watch the second half. Because once Best 43 Outlaw 36
again, someone on his bench scored twice on Monday. This week, Curtis Conway Deitrich 40 Talbot 19
will captain the splinter squad. Wallace 39 Peil 28
Gates 40 Stroupe 38
BERGER/BROWELL had MONTGOMERY beat 29-28 when Calvin Williams scored two "wasted
Tds" to push the final to 41-28. The TDs were not totally wasted, 2-0 B/B slides Week 3
past Gates to top the league. Gates had a close one with Stroupe, but prevailed Berger-Browell vs Jones-Klingman
40-38. For Stroupe, it was another monster game from Andre Rison, but slow Czupryna vs Montgomery
starting Warren Moon has hurt him. Ricker vs Outlaw
Jackson vs Peil
JACKSON defeated RICKER 54-32. Atlanta's QBs again threw 3 TDs and Marcus Allen Talbot vs Stroupe
and Leonard Russell scored again. It has been exactly two years since Calvin Best vs Wallace
last made the honor roll when he defeated BEST 50-15 in week 2, 1992. WALLACE Gates vs Deitrich
is being carried by a kicker. Jason Elam had his second straight 10 point game.
PEIL was the victim 39-28. The new NFL rules have kept kicker totals down. ARIZONA AT CLEVELAND 1:00
BUFFALO AT HOUSTON 1:00
DEITRICH earned his first victory in the league defeating TALBOT 39-19. Chris GREEN BAY AT PHILADELPHIA 1:00
Warren is carrying this team. He had his second straight 13 point game. Talbot INDIANAPOLIS AT PITTSBURGH 1:00
had the lowest total this week after scoring 61 last week. OUTLAW lost to BEST MINNESOTA AT CHICAGO 1:00
both on the field and off. BEST won the on field battle 43-36 and if to add NEW ENGLAND AT CINCINNATI 1:00

and broke his jaw. The fight by the two New Orleans backs took place in a bar NEW YORK JETS AT MIAMI 1:00
