Week 10 THIS WEEK IN THE BRFL November 9, 1994

ONLY 7-3 RICKER AND BERGER/BROWELL STILL HOPE TO CATCH 9-1 BEST
1
Only two teams, RICKER and BERGER/BROWELL, still have a chance to catch BEST, Week 10 (Nov 6-7)
the league's runaway leader at 9-1. All other teams have been eliminated. BEST Berger-Browell 48 Peil 37
is assured of no less than a third place finish because of tie breakers over Best 28 Czupryna 24
OUTLAW and JONES/KLINGMAN (although these teams can finish second if BEST wins Jones-Klingman 58 Deitrich 21
first). The race is not yet in the bag for BEST because he still has to face Ricker 32 Talbot 31
B/B this week and RICKER in week 13. Gates 24 Jackson 23
Outlaw 44 Stroupe 15
A late Ricky Proehl TD may have helped BEST edge CZUPRYNA 28-24, but perhaps Montgomery vs Wallace (in dispute)
the real help came from CZ himself in leaving Brent Jones and Reggie Cobb on
the bench. The grateful BEST ended a five game losing streak to CZ in winning Week 11
his sixth straight. Winning seven straight was RICKER with thrilling 32-31 Berger-Browell vs Best
win over TALBOT. Troy Aikman took it in himself for the deciding points on Czupryna vs Peil
Monday night. TALBOT has lost two straight to a "MONDAY evening quarterback." Jones-Klingman vs Talbot
Ricker vs Deitrich
BERGER/BROWELL warmed up for BEST by beating PEIL 48-37. San Francisco had big Jackson vs Stroupe
days from offense and defense. Good news for Peil is that it wasn't a blowout - Outlaw vs Wallace
Alvin Harper's knee that is. Although Harper appeared to be seriously injured, Montgomery vs Gates
it was only a ACL sprain, and he will be back in a couple weeks. GATES edged
JACKSON 24-23 as OJ McDuffie and Darney Scott rode the pine. ARIZONA AT NEW YORK GIANTS 1:00
SAN DIEGO AT KANSAS CITY 1:00
JONES/KLINGMAN and OUTLAW kept their hopes for second alive with blowout wins. ATLANTA AT NEW ORLEANS 1:00
J/K hammered DEITRICH 58-20 as Cunningham and Barnett played catch twice for CHICAGO AT MIAMI 1:00
scores. Emmitt iced it with 14 to take the BRFL back scoring lead. Outlaw CLEVELAND AT PHILADELPHIA 1:00
got a big boost from the Detroit rally to take STROUPE 44-15. Stroupe played HOUSTON AT CINCINNATI 1:00
the wrong QB again as Washington scored only 6 to Minnesota's 18. MINNESOTA AT NEW ENGLAND 1:00
SEATTLE AT DENVER 4:00
WALLACE did not leave a lineup for MONTGOMERY and the game is in dispute. NEW YORK JETS AT GREEN BAY 4:00
DALLAS AT SAN FRANCISCO 4:00
LOS ANGELES RAIDERS AT LOS ANGELES RAMS 4:00
TAMPA BAY AT DETROIT 8:00
Points below in standings, leaders and box scores are based on Montgomery's BUFFALO AT PITTSBURGH MON 9:00
submitted line up and Wallace's "usual" lineup.
