Week 14: Sweet revenge for GTS over WAL

Johnnie Morton hauled in a TD pass from Scott Mitchell to net a "10" for GTS and brought him back in a 31-25 win over WAL. The win was particularly sweet since this is the third straight year those two played in week 14. WAL as the low seed has won the first two times. GTS, as a 13 seed, was the low seed this year. The 4 seed has never won a playoff game under our current format.

13 was NOT the lowest seed, the 14th seed, BAR defeated STP and moves on. This was not a shocker considering how well BAR has played. It is his fourth straight win after opening 0-10, and he has better matchups.

In a game stunning for it's score, CZ won 19-12 over JK. Both teams had been burning up the scoreboard in losing efforts in recent weeks, and one would have expected this to be a shootout. Credit CZ for the shrewd pickup and start of the Oiler's Chris Sanders, who netted him 7, the difference. JK was stunned by their non-performance of Young and Rice.

CJ probably had to be sedated around midnight Monday. He was attempting an improbable, but not impossible comeback against TAL. Down 30-8, he had Kevin Butler, Herman Moore and Barry Sanders going. Moore and Sanders were getting the ball on nearly every play, and they each scored, but on the final Detroit drives, Moore caught a pass just out of the endzone and Barry ran 4 times inside the 10. CJ cma eup short 30-25.

DP struck late, but decisively in the 4th Qtr of the Oakland KC game. His players scored 22 points to BST's 1 in that span. He also held off the Chicago QBs and Conway on Monday to win 37-20.

In the 8/9 game, MOS walloped BR 43-22, thanks to a big game from Denver QBs.
