Ryuichi Sakamoto:
BTTB

Under the generic title of BTTB (Back To The Basic) is presented a collection of sixteen pieces for solo piano of diverse nature and musical form, but with a marked and deliberate influence (in many moments) of the pianistic and harmonic style of the French composers from the beginning of the 20th century, especially Erik Satie and Claude Debussy. The Japanese Ryuichi Sakamoto, once again, demonstrates his universal filiation including from pieces of classic (Sonatine), danced (Bachata) or religious (Choral) format, till more personal and original cues (Prelude or Reversing). The whole is a relaxed and relaxing work, maybe barely transcendent, but of audition always stimulant and pleasant.
