Joe Jackson:
SYMPHONY NO.1

This new experience in the world of the classic music of the British Joe Jackson, after his previous and very interesting Heaven & Hell, obeys according to his words to the adventure of creating a work of classic structure using an absolutely actual instrumental group (in this case, saxophone, trumpet, percussion, trombone, bass, keyboards, flute, violin, viola and electric guitar). Divided in four movements with a nomenclature that denotes the author's premeditation (First Movement - Fast Movement - Slow Movement - Final Movement) of using the classic scheme of Allegro - Scherzo - Adagio - Finale, we meet with all the habitual touches of his style, that so peculiar mixture between pop and jazz, this time sifted with musical forms generally unaware to his music, as the variations that constitute the final movement.
