With headquarters in Salt Lake City (Utah), the composers that form the Pinnacle Music Group have put under way an entrepreneurial adventure devoted to compose and sustain, musically, all type of activities, from advertising to festive ging through, of course, the music for movies. Kurt Bestor (the most well-known, with already more than ten distributed and widely known records, and great quantity of soundtracks), Sam Cardon (winner, together with Bestor, of an Emmy Award by their music for the Calgary Winter Olympics, in 1988), Merrill Jenson and Lance Lenhart, are the four components of the group, and have already a wide experience as musical renown authors, creating from program head-boards for television (as the ABC Monday Night Football Theme) and radio (as that of KDFW (Dallas) AM News Open), interactive music for videogames (as that of Desert II / WarHawk - Sony PlayStation) or advertising announcements (as that of Chevrolet Campaign '93); their contribution to the cinema goes from put music to some trailers of very well-known movies, as that of Honey, I Blew Up The Kids or Homeward Bound, to scores for the IMAX' s films, till complete soundtracks, as the included in the promotional CD offered as sample of their work. The first that surprises of these, is its impressive creative level and variety; basically rooted in the musical style known as Americana, and in between the most spectacular symphonism (The Lamb of God), and a sound close to the new-age (Emerald Mist), all the suites and selections here included becomes very agreeable from listening, what turns out to be a first step toward greater importance enterprises.
