Published under the mysterious title of Portrait of Terror, due to a series of legal problems of scarce clarity and repercussion, hides the score of Halloween H20, the seventh delivery of the Halloween series begun by John Carpenter in 1978, and surprisingly composed by the very interesting musician (and editor) John Ottman. Far from giving a work to the use of the gender, with abundance of effects and electronic elements, Ottman prefers to center its score in its favorite resource, the orchestral, such and like he demonstrated previously in titles as The Usual Suspects (1995), Incognito (1997) or Apt Pupil (1998), although it also incorporates surprising vocal touches and, of course, an original version of the famous generic theme of the series written by the own Carpenter; everything developed it along seventeen balanced cues that constitute a different and personal contribution, very advisable of knowing.
