Marco Beltrami: SCREAM / SCREAM 2

Without reaching up the interest neither the quality of his stupendous Mimic (1997), the first two deliveries of the horror saga Scream (already with a third one on the horizon) were good to place the Italian Marco Beltrami in an outstanding position inside the gender. His mixture of styles, with a marked symphonic bias but also with wide electronic participation, works perfectly with a type of films oriented to a juvenile audience for the most part. This way, of Scream (1996) stand out especially themes as Trouble in Woodsboro or NC-17, where this sincretism is accented; better and more worked is the music of Scream 2 (1997), with some stupendous cues as Love Turns Sour or Dewpoint and Stabbed on which the balance is manifested excellently gotten. After the also terrifying The Faculty (1998), and with the mentioned third delivery of the saga Scream in doors, it would be interesting that Beltrami began to frequent other genres, so that he can develop his personality in a more varied way, since qualities for that don't lack on him.
