1. All Committee Chairman should strive to meet with their respective Committees at least once each month, They should remind their committee members by phone, or other means, of the meeting place, time and date, at least one day in advance of the meeting.
  2. Members of the Church Council with right to vote are as follows:
    1. Pastor
    2. Principal of Christian Day School
    3. President
    4. Vice-President
    5. Treasurer
    6. Recording/Financial Secretary
    7. All members of the Committees for Christian Education, Elders, Evangelism, Property and Supplies and Stewardship.
  3. The Board of Directors is composed of the President, the Vice President, the Recording Secretary and the Chairman of the Committee of Property and Supplies.
  4. The duties of the Board of Directors are commensurate with those of any corporate board insofar as legal matters are concerned.
  5. Discuss the Agenda with the Pastor at least one day prior to each meeting.
  6. Assure that all motions and plans effected by the congregation, and which lie within their respective areas of responsibility, are carried out by the time designated or, in any event, not later than a 30-day period. Agendas, Church Council and Voters' Meeting minutes are to be checked each month for this purpose.
  7. Give brief, concise reports each month to the Council and then to the Voters' Assembly, making such motions as are necessary. Motions, in written form, are normally handed to the Secretary in advance.
  8. Be present at the scheduled Council Meetings. Report activities and motions resulting from their respective committee meetings, thereby contributing to the over-all church programs.
  9. Submit their respective proposed annual budgets to the Treasurer, when requested.
  10. Assure that appropriate articles are submitted from their respective Committees for the Congregation Newsletter.
  11. Assure that the published duties and responsibilities of their respective offices and/or committees are reviewed at least annually, and that proposed amendments be submitted to the Voters' Assembly for consideration.
  12. Assure that all official documents relative to the business of the Church are recorded and/or filed in the Church Master File.
  13. It is desirable that all Committee recommendations be presented to the Voters' Assembly in the form of Church Council recommendations. However, the Committee Chairman may have his Committee's recommendation(s) listed on the President's agenda without amendment or approval by the Church Council.
