It should be understood by all congregational officers that the Lord Jesus is, and will remain, the Absolute Head of this congregation and that the Pastor is our called Shepherd. Therefore, in all the doings of an officer, he should first ask and pray, "Is what I am doing pleasing to the Lord?" Further, the officers of the congregation shall adorn their high office with an honest way of life and be good examples to the congregation: I Timothy 3:8-12
