The duties and responsibilities of the President are those usually required of such an executive officer, and include the following:

  1. Preside at all Voters' Assemblies and Church Council meetings.
  2. Assure that all Boards and Committees are functioning properly, attending meetings as necessary and/or upon request of the Pastor.
  3. Prepare the Agenda for each Council and Voters' Meeting.
  4. At least once each month meet with the Pastor to review past and current progress, and to discuss coordinated agendas for future plans.
  5. Serve as a Director of the Church Corporation, together with the Vice-President, the Chairman, Committee for Property and Supplies, and the Recording Secretary.
  6. Serve as an advisory member of all boards and committees.
  7. Be responsible for the collection and safekeeping of all legal and other official documents on behalf of the congregation.
  8. Along with the Pastor, be responsible for the congregation's safety depository
  9. Make such appointments as become necessary.
