The duties and responsibilities of the President are those usually required of such an executive officer, and include the following:
- Preside at all Voters' Assemblies and Church Council meetings.
- Assure that all Boards and Committees are functioning properly, attending meetings as necessary and/or upon request of the Pastor.
- Prepare the Agenda for each Council and Voters' Meeting.
- At least once each month meet with the Pastor to review past and current progress, and to discuss coordinated agendas for future plans.
- Serve as a Director of the Church Corporation, together with the Vice-President, the Chairman, Committee for Property and Supplies, and the Recording Secretary.
- Serve as an advisory member of all boards and committees.
- Be responsible for the collection and safekeeping of all legal and other official documents on behalf of the congregation.
- Along with the Pastor, be responsible for the congregation's safety depository
- Make such appointments as become necessary.
