The duties and responsibilities of the Recording Secretary include the following:
  1. Keep an accurate account of all Voters' Meetings which, upon Voter approval, will constitute the permanent Minutes of the Meeting.
  2. Maintain an accurate list of all voting members, and membership of all official Boards and Committees.
  3. Reproduce the minutes of the Voters' Meetings in sufficient copies for distribution at the subsequent meeting, and for further distribution as required by other Boards and/or Committees. The Pastor should be provided with one copy of these minutes as soon as possible.
  4. Provide notice to all voters of the next meeting date, time and place.
  5. Invite new members to membership in the Voters' Assembly within 30 days of their reception into membership of Beautiful Saviour Evangelical Lutheran Church, provided they otherwise qualify.
  6. Conduct such correspondence as is necessary or requested.
  7. Serve as Secretary for all Church Council meetings and provide minutes of these meetings for the council members.
  8. Provide a list of all Church Council recommendations to the voters prior to the Voters' Assembly.
  9. Serve as a member on the Board of Directors.
  10. Assure compliance with the California corporate filing requirements.
The duties and responsibilities of the Financial Secretary include the following:
  1. Serve as a member of the Committee for Finance, along with the Church Treasurer.
  2. Maintain a week-by-week record of all personal offerings; provide quarterly reports to all who have personal offering envelopes; and to purchase and arrange for the distribution of the offering envelopes.
