Ancestors of Sarah Kiersted


arabq_th.jpg (6748 bytes)ans Kierstede was born about 1616 at Magedeburg in Saxony. He married January 29, 1642 in the New Amsterdam Reformed Church Sarah Roelofse, baptised April 5, 1627 in the Lutheran Kerke in Amsterdam, the daughter of Roelof Jansen and Anneke Jans.

    He was a chiryrgeon or physician for the West India Company on Manhattan as early as 1640. He died previous to August 7, 1666 in New Amsterdam.
