Sailor Uranus was injured in the blast even though Sailor Moon tried to shield her. Sailor Moon told Sailor Uranus to leave and take care of her injury. Sailor Jupiter said that since there was no talisman, they had no more business here. Sailor Uranus said that since the Sailor Scouts were willing to become a sacrifice, she and Neptune would leave them to it. Kaolinite said no one could leave and she created a strange forcefield around the tower. Jupiter and Mars attacked with the Sparkling Wide Pressure and the Burning Mandala, but their attacks bounced off Kaolinite because she had a powerful shield around her. Sailor Mercury said that only the Sailor Planet Attack would be powerful enough to get through. Sailor Venus said it wouldn't work because Kaolinite could attack them during the time it took to power-up the Sailor Planet Attack.
Tuxedo Mask challenged Kaolinite and they began to duel. The Scouts started their power-up. Moon Cosmic Power! Mars Star Power! Jupiter Star Power! Venus Star Power! Kaolinite launched her freezing attack but Tuxedo Mask blocked her with his cape. Sailor Planet Attack!
The attack broke her shield and knocked Kaolinite down, but didn't destroy her. "Hah! You've used up all your energy now!" cried Kaolinite. "The professor will be so pleased to hear I've frozen all the Sailor Scouts into statues!" She launched an ice-storm barrage. Sailor Uranus used the World Shaking attacking and deflected Kaolinite's ice-storm back onto herself. A section of the deck collapsed and the frozen Kaolinite fell to her death.
Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus quickly escaped from the tower. Neptune asked Uranus why she had changed her mind about helping the Sailor Scouts. Uranus said it was because Sailor Moon looked like Dumpling Hair (Serena). Back at Raye's house, Darien was apologizing that he had no present for Serena. Serena said she was sorry she had put him danger. She said she always received a lot of love from him, anyway. Serena ran her finger over Darien's chest.
"Hey, what do you two think you're doing at someone else's house!" complained Mina. Mina, Amy and Lita were watching Serena enviously through the open door (Lita was stuffing herself with cookies and Amy was pretending to read). "Are you listening?" yelled Raye, who was already in bed, "It's late! Go home!". The professor was on the phone. "Kaolinite? I see... In that case, you will take over her position. I'm relying on you, Eudial."
