CNC's football win was the start of the week of three victories. On Thursday it was victory for Labour in the election, and on Saturday the UK won the Eurovision Song Contest. The song, called "Love shine a light" and performed by Katrina and the Waves, was the first British winner since Bucks Fizz in 1981


Ex-student Bernadette Smith has booked her return flight from Peru. She's set to return on August 31st. Meanwhile, her tour of Peru continues - she's moved house again! Contact us for her new address before you write.


House-hunting and exams are the order of the day. Mr Wood has found a house in York, as has Robert Gibson. Mr Wood is jealous because Rob's house is near a chocolate factory. Many ex-students are sitting exams, and for those still at CNC, exams began with General Studies last week.


Sr Kate has joined the long list of staff who have high praise for ENN. "I just love your newsletters," she told the Editor. We've decided to send her a personal copy of this edition. Isn't that lovely? Meanwhile, Mr Reese apparently nearly fell off his chair laughing at our mock election. The result is contained in the Election supplement with this issue - ENN's biggest ever.
