SR KATE JOINS STAFF EXODUSSR KATE JOINS STAFF EXODUSNEWS> Sr Katherine Frost FCJ, better known to members of the College as "Sr. Kate" is the latest addition to a long list of staff who are leaving the college this year. Kate's departure will signal the end of 130 years of FCJ teaching at Lark Hill. She is also believed to be the last religious sister teaching in Preston. Sr Kate will now move to a different FCJ community and will do chaplaincy work. The full list of staff who are leaving is: Mr Lindsay Smith (vice-principal; history), Mr Joe Bamber (history), Dr David Caroline (science), Miss Jackie Fowler (history), Sr Katherine Frost (RE), Mrs Pat Gemson (geography), Mrs Joyce Simpkins (languages), Mrs Liz Macdonald (careers, history). Mr David Starkey has stood sown as head of Mathematics, but will remain teaching at the college. Mr Geoff Wright will be his replacement. ENN has also learned that CNC caretakers, Jean and Tom Seed, are also leaving this year.
