Students walk out for national shutdown
NEWS> CNC's students took part in the NUS further and higher education shutdown last week as part of the protest over the government's plan to introduce tuition fees for university students next year. Students from the college joined forces with those from Preston College and the University of Central Lancashire for the protest, part of a national shutdown organised by the National Union of Students.
The protest follows a march last month by CNC students, who were protesting about tuition fees and the proposed end to lunch vouchers and free home to college travel.
