A NOTE FROM THE EDITOR

at last we've managed to get a colour edition through the printing presses - it's been a long time coming, but it's a good way to start 1998. Happy New Year, by the way, and sorry about the infrequency of ENN recently. It's now due out every three weeks during term time, so there'll be two more before Easter. Visiting the college recently, I have noticed the new bike park and the excellent condition of the lake, which is being maintained by the Newman Green Network. "Bravo!", as Mr. F. would say. Talking of "the boy Finnerty", when I interviewed him recently he somehow managed to make me follow him round the college carrying an extension lead - press manipulation, I think.
