Saba Marble Company Begins Production At Full Capacity

The Saba Marble Share Company of Western Tigray zone whose assets valued at over 17-million Birr had been robbed by the Eritrean regime has now begun operation starting full-scale production activities.
Company manager Ato Solomon Desta told WIC that the company whose assets had been robbed two years ago has installed its reserve machineries and began to produce at full capacity. Ato Solomon said the company has produced over 80 per cent of the targeted 2,200 cubic meters of marble at its production sites in three localities of Western Tigray zone.
Noting that the company's products have a high demand on the local market, Ato Solomon said the company is also planning to export its products to countries of the Middle East and Europe next year. Established in 1987 (E.C) and owning a capital of over 50 million Birr, the Saba Marble Share Company employs over 200 permanent and temporary works.
