Know all men by the presents that I Benjamin Bratcher
of the county of Cambel and State of Tennessee do nominate and by these presents do
nominate and appoint James Walker of the County of Claiborn and State of fore sade as my
law full attorney to receive from any pay master all my tital and clame and demand in and
upon the United Stats for my servises as a privat in Capten Powels Company of the third
