April 10, 1821 I, John Bratcher, of Campbell County, Tenn. for and in consideration of receiving compensation of my son John Bratcher of State of Kentucky do make said John and he is to have after my death the following negro to wit: Lewis, Tempy, Milly, Abram, Dick, Sally, also my stock and house held and kitchen furniture. To have and to hold the same etc. and I do after my decease give up and grant to him said property, as witness my hand and seal this day and date written above.
