In the name of the State of Texas

To all to whom these presents shall come Know ye I E M Pease - Governor of the State aforesaid by virtue of the power vested in me by Law and in accordance with the Laws of Said State in Such case made and provided do by these presents Grant to Nathaniel S. Bratcher - his heirs or afsigns forever.  Five hundred and Sixty one acres of Land Situated and described as follows in Van Zandt County on the Waters of Sabine River about ? miles N 40 E from Canton by virtue of Certificate 1072 ifsued by the Commifsioner of Mercers Colony on the 18th day of June A D 1850 - Said Survey is No. 195

Beginning at a Stake the NE corner of James D Wright. Survey from which a Post Oak bears S 23 W 9 8/10 …..another bear S 14 W 12 3/10

Thence North with the East Boundary Line of Mercers Colony 1200 …. to a Stake from which a Hickory bears S 72 W 5 ……an other bears N 21 W 10 ….   Thence West 210 ….. a Branch 2640 …. to a Stake from which a Post Oak bears S 54 E 17 5/10 ….. another bears N 8 @ 15 5/10 ….

Thence South with the East Line of Willaim Bundys Survey 1200 ….. to a stake from which a Post Oak bears N 29 E …. another bears S 57 E 3 5/10 …..

Thence East pafsing the N W Corner of J D Wrights Survey and continuing with his North Line 2640 … to the place of Beginning.
          Hereby relinquishing to him the Said Nathaniel S. Bratcher … and his heirs or afsigns forever all the Right and title in and to Said Land heretofore held and possessed by the Said State and I do hereby ifsue this Letter Patent for the Same
In Testimony where of I have caused the Seal of the State to be affixed as well as the Seal of the General Land office.  Done at the City of Austin on the Sixth day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and fifty five.
