Note: The headwaters of the Namozine Creek
are in Nottoway County northeast of Burkeville. The creek flows
northeasterly to the Appomattox River forming the county lines between Nottoway
and Dinwiddie County, as well as Amelia and Dinwiddie County. The location
of this land was most likely in the northeastern part of current day Nottoway
County, Virginia.
