Note: The headwaters of the Namozine Creek are in Nottoway County northeast of Burkeville.  The creek flows northeasterly to the Appomattox River forming the county lines between Nottoway and Dinwiddie County, as well as Amelia and Dinwiddie County.  The location of this land was most likely in the northeastern part of current day Nottoway County, Virginia.
