As this collection of galleries
grows and evolves, my intention remains simple - to share the art and music that I enjoy
with those who want to experience it. I have tried to display every selection in such a
way so that the special effects do not distract from the art itself. I hope that my
presentation has not offended any of the artists or diminished their work in any way ~dm |

This site would definitely not be the same without
the use of Java. I think we are extremely fortunate that brilliant people like David
Griffiths, Fabio Ciucci, Mark Kozac
and Modern Minds are so generous with their work and so willing to share it with the rest
of us. It allows us to help make the Web a more beautiful place - and I have tried
to do just that! |

This museum displays actual ancient
armor that has been digitally added to the fantasy art of Tolkien's World, Middle-earth.
These images have sprung from the minds of Carol
Emery Phenix, John Howe, Alan Lee, Tony Galuidi, Ted Nasmith, Inger Edelfeldt and Roger
Garland. |

The images and text used in this gallery are from Little
Thoughts with Love by Anne Geddes, an Australian-born photographer living in New Zealand. Anne has an
incredible talent in the way she is able to capture the pure joy and innocence of a
child through her lens. I fell in love with her work the first time I saw it and it
continues to make me smile again and again. This is one that will make you smile,
too! |

This gallery showcases the work of John W. Waterhouse, born in
Rome in 1849. His style is a unique blend of medieval and classical Renaissance, often
referred to as Pre-Raphaelite. I find a certain calm in his art and I love his use
of color and subjects. I also felt it was perfect to use with the Lake...I think I
was right - see for yourself! |

This gallery was inspired by the work of Christian Riese Lassen. Living in Hawaii since the age of 10, Christian was inspired by his lush
surroundings to develop his rich style of "multi-environmental" painting, which
has won him world class recognition. In addition to being a remarkable artist, he is also
an awesome surfer! |

Brian Froud is an award-winning illustrator and author, residing in Devon, England.
He has the most extraordinary imagination and talent as evidenced by his book Good
Faeries/Bad Faeries, from which the text and images for this gallery were taken.

Monet...a
true master in every sense of the word. I love the way his strokes magically blend into
such beautiful paintings. I feel that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy
his art! |
