Anghariad Rhos daughter of Tewdwr ap Rhodri was born in Pembroke in the year 1067, eldest daughter of a Welsh knight who fought to keep the Normans at bay in the lands of the Cymry.

Her position in the hierarchy of the clan is Tylwyth Ceg or Mouth of the family. (It means I get to do the web pages, the ads, the paintings, the minutes, etc. etc, etc...)

As a Cymry I hate the Saesneg (English), the Normans, and Vikings. I was recently captured by Vikings and sold to the Moors , but was conveniently rescued by my lord husband Degary on his way back from the Crusades and returned to my home in Croesgoch (that's near Hywllfydd or Haverfordwest--for those interested in Welsh geography). He got a break on the price of buying me back because I was so loud, obnoxious and obstinate.

OK--for those of you who spotted the anachronisms inherent in that last statement click here for the real story.

If you look for me at events I usually wear a white cotehardie with Celtic knots embroidered in green and blue around the neck, and a red and black sideless surcoat with a gold griffon bearing a celtic cross on it.

Anne-Marie Krone (that's who I am in the mundane world) is an artist and computer repair technician. I lived in Wales for three years while serving in the US Navy. I like embroidering, painting, making armor
and chainmail, stained glass and brewing. I have been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism for eight years and I think it's the most fun you can have without breaking any laws.

I also have a passion for Malawi Cichlids and keep a 40 gallon tank with four 6 inch Pseudotropheus Lombardoi.
