2/15/2000....I am currently re-writing the script, changing the image pages to open in a new window which will save you the time as mentioned on above original site information.

This site and the images are set up to be viewed on MS Explorer 5.x or newer with desktop set at 800x600 and in full screen mode for 640 x 480, using your keyboard page down key. This may not hold true in all cases due to the difference in ISP's formatting and computer setups.  In most cases the format is a compromise of 640x480 and 800x600! Pages will gradually change to pure 800x600 format as time goes by. The images are best reproduced in "24 bit" or "true" color and photographic images viewed in less will look bad. There is some sound and image map hot spots scattered thru-out the site.

The images are straight jpg files and therefore will be reproduced from the upper left corner diagonally down according to their size. I had thought about putting them on a graphics mat or similar, to center them up, but this would eat up a lot of memory and be slower in down loading.  "Use your back button to exit them!" or "If they opened in new window, just close the window."

Present plans are for new images to be uploaded for one of the photographers each week and of course for any guest as they are received and accepted.  This way there will be a constantly changing gallery and a good reason for you to check in often.   -bg-  Updates will be dated and noted at the top of this page. {The blue portion}

Apology...I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the download time of these pages.  On my computer, testing this site on MS Internet Explorer 4.0, everything is instantaneous, including the music starting with the page appearance, which is the way the syntax is written. When downloading and viewing from the net, I was extremely disappointed! There are many different reasons for this slowness, which includes the originating server, the different servers that the data goes through, the amount of traffic on these servers, the modems in our computers, a few other things up to and including the phone lines.  I definitely can't afford the private commercial organizations with the big time super fast equipment, so I guess we are stuck with what we have for a while. I promise to work hard at making the time spent waiting for downloads worth your while. If you have any problems or suggestions on this, please let me know.   ... Greyhawk
