This is from Jill: I just wanted to tell you that I noticed the same thing about Ike. Whenever he listens to what his brothers are saying, he always has a big smile on his face, as if he is so proud that they are his brothers. I noticed that when Tay was talking about how they used to sing a capella (in the TT&MON video) and Ike was just smiling and agreeing with everything Tay was saying. :)

You never actually see him LEAD a situation, but gently guide the others, all the while being completely attentive to them. He is the great guy you knew or know in school; the one whom you wished saw you more than a friend...but never failed to flirt with you a bit. He is the best friend who lets you speak first and listens to every work; and when he replies, there is always fire in his eyes. These thoughts are from "Born too soon!" When I look at Isaac Hanson, I see so many special things that I hardly know where to start. I could start with things like kindness, gentleness, sensitivity...but instead I think I'll talk about his sweetness. Isaac has such an incredible sweetness that it is indescribable. It's there in his eyes, in every picture, regardless of whether he is smiling or serious. You look into those eyes and you can't help but know that a very beautiful soul is looking back out at you.
Another thing that I love about Isaac is the way he always describes himself as being a "romantic." In fact, my favorite Isaac quote right now is "I'm a romantic fool--I always manage to get hurt." Bless him for not being afraid to reveal that he has a vulnerable side. Whenever I think of him saying that, I wish I could take him in my arms and tell him that noone will ever hurt him again, not if *I* have anything to say about it!
But the thing that amazes me most about him is how mature he is. He seems to completely lack the hangups and insecurities that most people (especially guys!) have at his age and comes across as being completely comfortable with who he is in a way that takes most people *many* more than 17 years to achieve. And it's not just because he's famous and successful. Plenty of people who are just as successful and much older than Isaac aren't nearly as secure in their sense of themselves as he seems to be. In fact, I have to admit that I find it hard to believe that he is only 17. He seems *much* older than that to me. I suppose being the
oldest child in a large family accounts for some of this, because he's obviously always carried a lot of responsibility. But whatever the reason, he sometimes says such insightful things that I find myself going "Huh? A 17-year-old said THAT?"

A lot of people will try to make up their own fantasy prsonality about famous people, and when they realize it's not true they are disappointed with the celebrity. When I watch Isaac on TV or something I get this weird feeling. Just the way he plays his music, it's beautiful! Also I've noticed after almost all of their performances when they stand there together he smiles this smile that looks like a 4 year old boy in a cady store.....he's just so happy. That look kind of even looks like a little kid right after they learn something new. You know how they get the look of pure happiness in their eyes. Thats a big reason why I like Isaac. I have a few friends who know Hanson(yes, know Hanson.....I live in Tulsa) but even with me living here and having friends who know them I still haven't meet them, and whats sad is that I probably will
not ever meet them. But I think of it this way someone has to marry Isaac one of these days, and I wish that person the best of luck because very likely Isaac furture wife is reading this, and to even think of it that way blows my mind away. Some people think he's ugly (let's go beat them up right now!) but he seems like a great guy. Watch him in the video TTMON when Tay is explaining how they wrote MMMBop. Ike's face lights up just remembering it all. You could tell by that that he truely loves music. And he's funny and sophisticated. He's very protective of his family. I read that one time back in
the day people were picking on Tay and giving him a nose bleed so Ike beat them up. I don't agree with violence, but he was just protecting his little bro. I admire that.

There's something about Ike...as a musician, he is totally in control and down to business. In TTMON, he makes sure Zac and Taylor are in perfect harmony, even if they are just the slightest bit off. As a person, I think he has a really magnetic personality. Ike has a great sense of humor but he also has a very serious, deep side. It seems that family is a priority to him, and he is compassionate about others. He truly is a complete person.

To sum up Isaac Hanson in just a few words...hmm . Well you have to give me two sections to play with here, the first being the mental side of him. he has such a respect for everyone he comes into conatct with, that it is TRULY flabbergasting!!!!!! I know of a few people that HAVE actually met him, and his graciousness to the fans and everyone he comes into contact with is such that once you've met him, you know that you've experienced a personality that is truly one in a milion. He's not afraid to admit his shortcomings, and he has a love and respect for
his family and of life in general, that one wonders how such and old soul could inhabit his 17year old body. He is DEFINITELY wise beyond his years, and it shows in the class he has towards his craft, and his savvy in dealing with the press and public in general. Some don't like him because of his looks, but in my eyes, Isaac Hanson is an absolutely gorgeous creature, both inside and out. He possesses an inner beauty that not many people have, and he's as innocent, sweet, romantic, gentle and harmless as you can get. You can look into those liquid-brown eyes of his, and you'll see an angel staring right back at you. There's heaps more I can say, but for now, let's just say I LOVE IKE!!!

to his calm, nurturing personality. He's the kind of person that you

Isaac is the Hanson brother who puts the most emmotion into his music. If you have ever been to a tour concert, or any concert for that matter, have you ever noticed how much he gets into his music? When he has his piano solo on "More Than Anything", he closes his eyes and concentrates
completely on what he is doing. It melts my heart. Also on "With You
in Your Dreams", he does the same thing... closing his eyes and putting
his all into it. When I look at the way he puts his heart into his
music.... It makes me realize just how much music means to him. He's
completely mesmerized by the songs he sings... and he mesmerizes
everyone who listens. Ike is by far the one who puts the most emotion
into his music. I have had the great honor of going to 9 of their
performances and meeting them all once. Isaac never fails to talk to
his fans in a respective manor. He always knows what to say.... weather

friendly joke he has with you. Ike is seriously a great all around
guy... someone I would love to be a best friend to, someone he could

First off, let me get right down to the materialistic part: his looks. Isaac's physical appearance is by no means the most important or beautiful dimension of his existence, but alas! He's gorgeous! Isaac is much more masculine looking than Tay or Zac, and I love that. The first thing I ever noticed about Ike was his eyes. Gazing into the depths of his sensitive brown eyes can make any heart melt. If the eyes are truly the windows to the soul, then Isaac's soul is truly beautiful. His eyes betray the kind-hearted, good-humored soul within, despite all attempts to look tough for the camera (you know the
pics where they're all scowling at the camera--what's up with that?). Ike's whole face just lights up whenever he smiles, and that smile certainly is contagious! His left eye kind of winks whenever he smiles. I find that very sexy. Also, the hair. I love the hair! I've always been drawn to guys with long hair, and Ike is no exception. His hair is a little bit wavy, and it looks good in a ponytail but even better when it's down and not pulled back. Ike sort of has a grunge look going on with his hair--very nice! He also has a great body. He's tall and thin, but you can tell Ike's packing some muscles. Have you ever really looked at Ike's hands? I have a thing for them. He
has incredible, graceful hands. Just watch him play the guitar
sometime, and you'll see what I mean. Ah, yes, the guitar. Isaac is a very talented individual. In fact, he partially inspired me to learn how to play acoustic guitar. I've
been teaching myself, and I am astounded at what an incredible player he is! I struggle with some of the chords, but I see him do them with no sweat. He hasn't played for very long either! I know that he plays many types of guitar and piano proficiently. Ike's voice is absolutely
incredible and so versatile! He can add deeper harmony or back
vocals on any song. He can totally rock out on a song like "Run
Rudolph Run," or he can melt your heart and bring tears to your eyes
on songs like "At Christmas" or "More Than Anything."
Ike has great personality! He can act absolutely insane and be cracking jokes one minute ("Hello, my name is Joe, and I will be your tour guide for today.") and then be completely serious and down-to-business the next. I like the way he can laugh at just about anything in life, even his own mistakes. That shows a lot of confidence. I love that Ike admits to being a hopeless romantic. I consider myself a hopeless romantic, so I like Ike all the more for this one. Ike just adores his siblings. Watch Isaac sometime when they're giving an interview or on TT&MON. You can see the adoration in his eyes and his expression when he watches them speak. He'll let Tay
and Zac interrupt him all the time and let them do a lot of the talking.
He's very dedicated to his family, and he takes on the responsibility of
taking care of them. I saw a picture of him holding Zoe. *sigh* It was
so precious! All in all, Ike is like the guy next door. You could have
deep conversations with him about religion or politics, or you could
have deep conversations with him about toilet paper!
Isaac's the guy you want with you through all the good and bad times in your life because when you're down, he'd hold you and tell you everthing will be alright or just let you cry on his shoulder or try to fix everything and cheer you up. As for the good times, imagine a party with this guy! That would be a party to remember!!

I think Ike has a deep respect for his brothers and what they have accomplished. He often moves out of the way for them in interviews so they can voice their opinions. The expression on his face looks as though he is thankful for and has an extreme interest in every single word his brothers say. But he is there to straighten them up, too. He is more business like
and keeps the band together and doesn't lose his cool, even in the toughest situations. He is so put together, especially for an eighteen year old. I may only be fourteen talking like a thirty year old, but he amazes me every second.
