Some Pictures Taken In And Around Egmont National Park

Classic winter postcard shot from Lake Mangamahoe, a few kms south of New Plymouth.

These shots from near Opunake, just before sunset.

These shots were taken at Dawson Falls on the South side of Mt Egmont. Had taken some shots earlier on a nice sunny day, but the contrast between the sunlight trees and the shaded cliff kinda spoilt the effect. These were taken on a duller overcast day with longer exposure times and I'm much happier with the results.

A few shots taken on a nice clear day as the moon rises over the peak.
