For the technically minded:
Pictures were taken using a Pentax MZ10 camera with 35-80 lens and Kodak ASA400 film.
Exposure times were between 2 & 6 seconds.
A view of the path to Stantom
Dell and the shade houses.
Hidden in the Dell is
Captain Hooks ship.
The display of
flowers is impressive in daylight, really amazing under coloured floods & flouros.
The ferns take on
a surreal appearance under the lights.
Hire a lighted
rowboat and check out the lights from the water.
A view of the
main lake from taken from a lookout at great personel risk as the stairs up to it were not
lit!
A group of tree ferns and a
large rimu tree are lit in this display on the path around the lower lake (My favorite pic
from this set)
The Waterfall is lit by
lights under each cascade.
The Stanton Dell lawn is lit
by a revolving mirror ball, unfortunately impossible to capture on film.
A group of young folks who
mistook me for a serious photographer and wanted their picture taken. If you know who they
are let them know they have at least been published!
