Innovative Electronics Review is the work of small office/home office (SOHO) workers with a love of high-technology labor saving software and hardware. Our interests include communications, office management, production, presentation, travel, and the unique blend of work/home devices that can facilitate the co-located dual life many home office workers enjoy. The efficiency of today’s SOHO, in fact its very existence is made possible by the computer, the Internet, high-speed communications and data exchange.

Some SOHOs are simple extensions of the traditional office--with computer assistance for correspondence, scheduling, management and accounting, and modern telephony facilities. Others are almost indistinguishable from the sophisticated facilities in corporate offices--for example the SOHO of a creative worker in the broadcasting, advertising, web design or publicity industries, connected to his coworkers and clients by broad-band “pipes” and even satellite links.

We seek out the latest technologies, test them ourselves, and then report to you. Our sources include such advanced technology trade shows as CES, NAB, COMDEX, Networld+InterOp, and Internet World, as well as a network of manufacturers of advanced technology devices adaptable to the SOHO. Our reviews are based on real production units in real office use.

We hope you’ll enjoy our pages, and benefit from those products we find useful.
