THE ALUMNI SHOCKER

PAGE 4

Last issue, we profiled men from the Alpha-Alpha, Alpha-Beta, and Alpha-Gamma Pledge Classes.  We are now well into the double-lettered pledge classes, so here are the men who pledged in
Fall 2003 and the Spring and Fall of 2004.  Enjoy!

Alpha-Epsilon (AE) Class
Spring 2004

Tameem Al-Shawaf, Beirut, Lebanon.  Tameem was attending Lebanese American University and decided to transfer to the USA.  A cousin suggested attending ISU because of their great balance of academics and enjoyable social life.  Having no fraternities in the Middle East, he has adjusted well to this lifestyle.  The chapter has taken interest in his cultural background.

Scott Hopkins, Frankfort, IL.  Scott is a construction management major who decided to attend ISU because it was close to home and it offered his major.  Joined TKE because many of the guys have similar interests.  He hopes to have some great memories of his TKE experience.
Mike Riggs, Libertyville, IL.  Ended up at ISU because he thought that NIU was really lame.  His brother, Pat, is a member of the Alpha-Delta Class.  Mike wants to be a high school history

teacher and hopes to further leadership skills he developed as an Eagle Scout.  He also hopes to make friends with people he would not have talked to before.
Lamar Wynn, Northlake, IL.  Lamar is majoring in accounting and hopes to someday own his own business.  He joined because we were up front with him about the absence of hazing in our pledge education program.
