At The Beach...

Zoy is such a multitasker! Reading *and* soaking in the rays. I peeked. It isn't Danielle Steele.
AirLar soaked in the sun while I took a break from being his human reflector shield (dangit, I'm not THAT white!) and snapped this pic.

As Freddy and I look on, Christie bravely takes up the duty left undone with Eponine's absence: waving down cabana boys!

I wasn't the only one qualified to help AirLar maximize his tan! EC and I compared SPF levels of preference while determining who would take the first shift as Lar's reflector shield.
In the morning over breakfast, we contemplated the construction of an awesome architectural feat of wonder, built by our wits and a bit of sand. This was the results before a 5 year old wench levelled it for low income housing.

Unfortunately, there were engineering errors in the construction of our work of silicate art...at high tide, we discovered that the castle was just a touch too high up on the beach to have the moat filled with water. Here we have SirG and Zoya trying to 'encourage' the tide to eak up just a bit higher. AirLar, Christie and I look on in admiration.
The really amazing thing about this strategy was that it actually worked! According to this picture though, it looks like it worked a little too well. AirLar, Zoy and 2sheye watch as the imaginary pygmies living in the castle run away in terror. (Yes, we really did talk about this...it's amazing how silly you can get over an omelette. We hadn't even been drinking! Yet.)
Building architectural feats of wonder is exhausting work, so part of our happy band (SirG, 2sheye, Zoya & Christie) went out into the surf to cool off. 2sheye reportedly experimented with warming up the ocean through natural means, but refused to comment when told that Hawgbert would surely not approve. He didn't. She didn't. It was all the typical CB rumor...
Ooo, I had such a good time looking at the Beach, I want to see the pictures of Dinner.
