Hardiness: Hardy to 0 degrees; Zones 7-8-9-10
Growth: Fast growth rate to 10 feet or more
Form: Graceful, arching shape
Leaves: Dark green with white hairs beneath; one inch
Flowers: Abundant small white flowers in spring
Fruit or Seeds: Red berries in fall and winter
Exposure: Full sun; tolerates wind and hot sun
Water: Best berry production with only moderate watering
Soil: Plant in native soil; do not amend
Fertilizer: Spring or fall
Prune: Thin old canes to the ground to retain natural shape
Problems: Fireblight is possible; mealybugs, scale, aphids

This is an easy care plant. It is often sheared, but it grows so fast that it must be sheared twice a month to keep it neat. It is most attractive in its natural fountain shape.
