Growth: Slow growing to 1.5 feet high by 3 feet wide
Form: Cushion shaped, a wide mound
Leaves: Dark green, narrow, one inch long oval leaves
Flowers: Small, white
Fruit or Seeds: 1/4 inch red berries in the fall produced without pollenator
Exposure: Full sun to half shade
Water: Likes regular watering and even moisture
Soil: Tolerates alkaline soils
Fertilizer: Spring or fall with NPK
Prune: Needs little pruning; can be sheared for formal look
Problems: Few problems

Neat and attractive small shrub. The variety 'Stokes' is even smaller.
