Hardiness: Hardy to 0 degrees; USDA Zones 7, 8, 9 and 10
Growth: Medium rate of growth to 4 feet by 4 feet
Form: A block-like mound; upright branches
Leaves: Tiny, medium green scales
Flowers: Few and inconspicuous flowers and cones
Exposure: Full sun
Water: Deep water monthly once established
Soil: Well drained preferred
Fertilizer: Not needed
Prune: Thin and tip back long stems in spring; do not shear
Problems: Mites, aphids, scale, borers possible

Use Armstrong Juniper as a foundation plant and in shrub beds; also makes a good informal hedge (not sheared). This is an easy care plant. It has few problems if given proper care.
