This is phase two of my renovation of this website. It has taken awhile, obviously, but there has been a lot of progress. Thank you for your patience.

Claire Forlani

When I first looked for information about Claire Forlani on the web (back in 1995 -- after watching Mallrats), I was surprised that there was not a single web page set up by some devoted fan. After her brief appearance in The Rock a half-year later, I decided to take on the task of creating a website focused entirely on Claire (thanks in part to some folks on the View Askew bulletin board).

The site has changed a lot and grown since its inception back in November 1996. Thanks to everyone who has given me feedback, contributed, and visited this site. This could not be done without you (or Claire Forlani, of course). I hope I've presented Claire in an informative way.

My apologies for slacking in the updates department. However, I am back to updating the site on a regular basis, given the fact that Claire will be in several films. Expect more pictures and articles. Thank you all for being patient!

There has been some technical difficulties in the image gallery recently. I'm currently working on it. In the meantime, I've added some new pictures in lieu of some of the old ones until I've fixed the problem. Enjoy!

Here is the latest in the world of Claire Forlani:
  • Claire is expected to sign on for the FX cable TV movie The Pentagon Papers, which co-stars James Spader, Alan Arkin, and Paul Giamatti.
  • Claire has been named spokesmodel for L'Oréal Paris's new Intensifique Lash Intensifying Mascara. The company's autumn advertising campaign has begun, with Claire's television commercial airing on such programs as Charmed (WB), E.R. (NBC), and Dark Angel (FOX).
  • Claire has been working on several film projects. Currently, she is working in the Jackie Chan action film Highbinders. She has also been participating in films such as Das Cowboy, Donald MacNeep Has Lost His Sheep, and Triggermen. No official release dates for these films are available at this moment.
  • Claire's film AntiTrust, which co-stars Tim Robbins (High Fidelity, Arlington Road), Rachael Leigh Cook (She's All That), Ryan Phillipe (Cruel Intentions, 54), and Richard Roundtree (Shaft), is out on DVD and VHS.
  • An "Ultimate Edition" DVD of Meet Joe Black (a two-disc set in special packaging), starring Claire, Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, and Marcia Gay Harden, is now available in stores.
  • Claire's film, Boys And Girls, is now available on VHS and DVD. Freddie Prinze Jr. (She's All That, Wing Commander) Jason Biggs (American Pie), Amanda Detmer (Final Destination, Drop Dead Gorgeous), Heather Donahue (The Blair Witch Project), and Alyson Hannigan (American Pie, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) co-star.
  • Claire's indie film Magicians, co-starring German actor Til Schweiger (Maybe ... Maybe Not), U.S. actor Alan Arkin (The Slums of Beverly Hills), and Italian actor Fabrizio Bentivoglio (An Eternity and a Day), is available on VHS and DVD.
  • Claire has a cameo role in the collegiate comedy Going Greek. She will play the role of Sorority Sister. The cast includes Dylan Bruno (Saving Private Ryan), Chris Owen (American Pie), Susan Ward (The In Crowd), and Simon Rex (Jack & Jill). A 2001 release date is planned for the film.
  • Claire and Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Velvet Goldmine) are in negotiations to star in low-budget vampire picture Johnny Domino. The love story is set in an isolated fishing village. Rhys Meyers will play the title role, a musician who becomes a local phenomenon after being bitten by a vampire. He falls in love with Forlani's character, also a vampire, and together they fight the village's evil preacher. In a new twist on Romeo and Juliet, they eventually pact to end their eternal lives. The picture, set to shoot in Europe next year, will be directed by young Irish newcomer Enda Hughes from a script by British writer Max Chipchase. No distributor is believed to be attached. • Claire has been named Actress of the Week by the online men's magazine AskMen.com.
