OK, that leaves little room for doubt, doesn't it? Ever since hearing these guys at the age of 16 I've been a great fan of them... Seen them live too, in '96, at the *only* concert they ever did in Holland. If you never ever heard them, what are you still doing here? Get out to CDNOW or your local CD shop and get one of their CDs ... get them all, since they're dirt cheap last time I looked.

Are all the non-believers gone? Good! Of course no one's so single-minded they only like one artist or group... at least, I hope not.

I'm not, anyway. In fact, I like loads of things, in an amazing variety of styles. Symphonic rock? Sure... how about Pink Floyd or Yes? Blues? See my guitar page. Funk? Prince or whatever he may call himself nowadays, Earth Wind and Fire, Average White Band... Alternative, of course: Bush, Creed, Matchbox 20, LIVE!!!!! Lady singers, from Billy Holiday to Aretha Franklin and from Gloria Estefan to Sarah McLaughlan. Male vocalists, Rod Stewart, Elton John, George Michael (even, although you're not supposed to say it out loud Neil Diamond and Michael Bolton (in small doses...)). "Country rock" of course, because I love the Eagles (thank god I told my age at the beginning... this info would have seriously dated me otherwise *g*).

Then there's lots of unclassifiable things, like the Doobie Brothers, Frank Zappa (a musical genius if ever there was one and a killer guitar player), Zucchero, Bowie, Lou Reed, the Offspring, Eels, Roxy Music... Hard rock like Deep Purple, Queensryche, Uriah Heep, punk like the Clash, Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop, Billy Idol.... Glam rock like Thin Lizzy...

Things I don't care too much for are rap, hip-hop, house, country... but even there there are exceptions to the rule.
