A Fairy Tale
Along the path she found a brook with beautiful fish in it. There were all kinds of fish, red fish, blue fish, gold fish, fish of all kinds. The brook had beautiful clear water in it and it was running down the rocks, making gurgling noises.

Janice sat by the brook for awhile listening to the birds sing and the brook babbling. She was real quiet, she was watching the fish swim in the water when she saw a reflection in the brook. It was a reflection of the most beautiful horse she hand ever seen.
She looked up and saw the horse staring at her, as if she never had seen a little girl before. Janice spoke to the horse. "Easy girl", she said. The horse just stared at her in wonderment.
The horse could not believe this little girl could speak. The horse had not been spoken to in many years.

Janice said, "What is wrong? You look so puzzled." The horse neighed and stomped her foot. She started walking away from the brook. Janice didn't want her to go. Once again Janice wished she had brought her camera. Janice called out, "NO! Please don't leave!" The horse turned back, and to Janice's amazement she spoke. "My name is Fairy Tale. I have been in this forest for a very long time. No one has come to visit me. I am the beautiful white horse girls and boys read about in fairy tales." Janice couldn't believe her ears.
