I am in 5th grade and I love to read! I go to Reed Elementary School, but next year I get to go to a brand new school, it's name is Anderson Elementary. It is right down the street from my house. I cannot wait. Maybe I won't have to get up so early next year. YAY!

This year at our school all of the 5th grade got to go to a place called Sky Ranch. We got to stay for 3 days. Boy this was so much fun! It is a learning ranch and I got to ride a horse too. We learned about the outdoors. We went on nature walks and looked for different bugs, animals and plants. At the pond I found an unusual animal. It was called a "horsehair". It looked like a worm, it was red. They call this a "horsehair" because it looks just like a horse's hair. I also found two walking sticks, one in the woods and one by our lunchroom. They look just like sticks and they move weird too. They are brown like tree branches. The great outdoors, it was WONDERFUL!!!

We also took a trip to Enterprise City! This was way cool! We had to run our own businesses. I worked in the T-Shirt shop and I made T-Shirts. I also got paid and I had to keep a check book, and budget my money, so I could buy things at Enterprise City. This was for one day, and before we went our teacher taught us about money and how to balance a check book.

Guess What?? I am going to Florida in June and my Grandma and all of my cousins are meeting us there!! I cannot wait. We are going to have fun. :) When I get back I will tell you all about my trip, and I know that I am going to see some terrific animals, because we are going to Busch Gardens. There is where I am going to see the animals from Africa. I will tell you all about them when I get back. I will be leaving on 21 June and coming back on 29 June. So stay tuned!!
