Stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld stars in this innovative, half-hour series, which blends situation "Seinfeld" comedy with his own stand-up routines.
Seinfeld and writer Larry David have created an intriguing, refreshing view of single adulthood by tapping into the comedian's mind and revealing how real events and problems -- such as male friendship, romance, careers and sporting endeavors -- find their way into his onstage comedy act.
The series co-stars Tony Award-winner Jason Alexander as George -- Jerry's shirt-off-the-back, go-the-extra-mile, anything-for-a-pal, please-love-me best friend; "Saturday Night Live" alumnus Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Elaine -- Jerry's purely platonic, but still very close ex-girlfriend; and Michael Richards as Kramer, Jerry's slightly off-the-wall, but not quite over-the-edge neighbor, who is as devoted to him as a "roadie is to a musician."
