You are visitor number since December 7, 1997

Can you help? Our success depends on you as much as it does on me. We especially need a Cassilly or Coffin in Ireland to help research the family name. EnvelopePlease contact Rick Mollica if you can provide information to help complete our family genealogy research. I will gladly send a GEDCOM file containing the genealogy information you find here to anyone who contributes genealogy information to this Web Site. [But please don't ask for a GEDCOM file if you don't contribute information.]

Rick Mollica I'm tracing the Coffins who went from Thomaston, Maine to Haverhill, Massachusetts; Cassillys who emigrated from Ireland to Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Social Security Death Index As of August 1999, the SSDI contained names of 26 Cassillys and 2600 Coffins. The SSDI includes all deaths since 1962, and is current up to 1992. Information includes first and last name, social security number, date of birth, date of death, zip code of exact place of death and zip code where the lump sum death payment was made. This source for the SSDI also includes the date that the SSN was issued. Passenger Lists. Since the birth of ISTG in August 1998, more than a hundred volunteers have transcribed and made available for search at the ISTG Web site the passenger lists of 285 ships. The work is ongoing, the ports of arrival are being broadened, and a new Resource Center is planned.
